Current Study & Research: He studies to induce compact and high performance machine learning models for portable computing devices. Now, he tries to apply an on-line learning algorithm into his proposed algorithm called decision boundary making. His research interests include computational intelligence, evolutionary computing, neural networks, and awareness computing.

Current Study & Research: Vuong V. Mai received the B.E. degree in Electronic Telecommunication Engineering with First Class Honours from Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, Vietnam in 2012, and the M.E. degree in Computer Network System from The University of Aizu (UoA), Japan in 2014. He is currently working toward a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering at UoA. He was awarded President's Award of Excellence for Masters Study, UoA, and IEEE student travel award for IEEE GLOBECOM 2015. Mai's study in Japan is funded by a Japanese government scholarship (MonbuKagaku-sho). His current research focuses on cross-layer design and performance analysis for Optical Wireless Communications. Mai is student member of IEEE and IEICE.

Current Study & Research: Phuc V. Trinh received the B.E. (First Class Hons.) degree in electron- ics and telecommunications from the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, Hanoi, Vietnam in 2013, and the M.Sc. degree in computer science and engineering from the University of Aizu (UoA), Aizuwakamatsu, Japan, in 2015. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in computer science and engineering at UoA. His study in Japan is funded by a Japanese government scholarship (MonbuKagaku-sho). He was the recipient of several awards, including the IEEE Sendai Section's Student Award (2014), the UoA President's Award for the best Master's student (2015), and the Young Researcher's Encouragement Award from IEEE VTS Japan Chapter (2015). His current research interests are in the area of optical wireless communications, including modulation techniques, coding, system modeling and simulation, and performance analysis. He is a student member of IEICE and IEEE.
